What can you expect?
- You will learn background information and facts about the topic of hate speech.
- You will take on different roles in a virtual live simulation and experience a conflictual online discussion in these roles
- You will receive tips and tricks for successful online discussions.
Who can participate?
People from Ukraine, Poland and Germany who are interested in the topic of digital civic courage and want to exchange ideas with other people on the topic of hate on the Internet. The event will be held in English.
All you need is a PC/laptop/tablet with audio and camera capability and a Facebook account. The event takes place on Zoom.
The event is part of the Ukraine Calling alumni network. As part of the Ukraine Calling program, a trilateral online workshop with simulation has already taken place in cooperation with ichbinhier e.V. in 2020.
Who is ichbinhier e.V.?
ichbinhier e.V. is an association that wants to sensitize users of social networks, media representatives and political decision-makers to the issue of hate on the Internet and promotes democracy through constructive discussions. To this, the association has developed a workshop format for digital civic courage.
